Where has all the help gone? →
An interesting article about how we as customers are now doing the work for free of what was previously a paid job. Sorry for linking to an MSN article, but it was on the homepage of the computer I was using at the time.
Love146 →
Become an abolitionist with Love146 and help those who do not have a voice. I went to a benifit show put on by Love146 last night and was really moved to put forth my voice in support of this organization. I encourage you to at the very least go visit the site and watch some of the videos they have. About Love146: Love146 works toward the abolition of child sex trafficking and exploitation...
Tumblr Security Flaw
Tumblr had a huge security flaw/gap that was discovered by my friend Levi as he just assumed that going to /admin on his tumblelog would result in access to the dashboard. Honest assumption. He emailed Tumblr support and received no response. He mentioned it to another friend who posted it to some Hacker News site and the rest is history. Fortunately it was corrected pretty quickly after that, but...
Tumblr's Backend (True Story)
Levi: so yeah, i just accidentally logged into the backend admin interface at tumblr...
Me: seriously?
Levi: yeah...this is actually me posting on your tumblelog right now...
Me: lame!
Ticketmaster Makes Dummy Facebook Profiles to Look... →
Wow, this to me is amazing. Highlight of the story is the fact that the author discovered one of Ticketmaster’s friends is Stebe Jobs. They just started making up names. Hilarious.
fat: It’s hard to believe that Ticketmaster would do something shady. Ticketmaster of all people.

Dear Apple Inc.
Dear Apple Inc.,
I would like to suggest a feature for iPods/iPhones/iPod Touches. While listening to a song it would be really cool if I could create an On-the-Go playlist that starts at the end of the current song I’m listening to. I know this may seem trivial, but often I’m listening to a song, and start thinking I’d like to listen to something else and don’t want to...
Dumb Musical Theatre Patron
Patron: Hi, I'd like one student ticket for today's show
Me: I'm sorry, we've actually just sold out for today's performance.
Patron: What do you mean sold out? Like sold out, sold out?
Me: Yes, the theater has reached maximum occupancy.
Patron: Like sold out?
Me: Yes, there are no tickets left.
Patron: Can I still get a ticket?
Me: ...

Suck Dictionary via Cellblock 303. →
Today while at work at the Sommet Center I purchased tickets for the second home game of the 7 game first round playoff series between the Nashville Predators and the Detroit Redwings and I bought them in the famous Cellblock, Section 303. The fans are so fervent, they made a website for their section. Needless to say, I’m pretty excited about the game.

Giving Comments a Try
When I switched from WordPress to Tumblr I kind of liked the fact that comments were not available by default, as I spent far too much time with my WordPress blog, even with Askimet, moderating SPAM comments. I have seen Disqus comments enabled on several Tumblr blogs and strangely no SPAM comments. I do miss the feedback you get with comments and I think I’m gonna give comments a try. Let...
Your Twitter is not your blog is not your Tumblr... →
Totally agree with Jorgeq and Mr. Williams. I admit I’ve done the “New blog post” on Twitter a few times, but usually it’s for my meaty posts, not every single one.
jorgeq: I can’t even keep count of the online social services that I have active but one thing is for sure, they all update each other and according to Justin Williams, this whole “trend of cross-posting...
Forgive me Baby (er Mini)
So long story short, I tried to create a USB bootable stick of Mint Linux which I then thought I would install on my Asus Eee PC. I used my Mac Mini to boot into the Live CD (which means I ran Linux on my Mac from a CD) and to get it to boot from the CD I changed the startup disk in OS X to be the CD. Bad idea. Now I cannot boot back into OS X, and yes I’ve tried Option Booting and...
