Mini-Review of quarterlife Pilot
The iTunes Store is great. The advertising inside the store is to me perfect. When I see words, “free episode” or anything of the sort I usually check it out. So when I saw a free episode for a new TV show I had vaguely been familiar with called quarterlife, I checked it out. Turns out the free episode was actually a 9-minute Featurette that was a behind the scenes and character introduction of the show. I watched this and was pretty much immediately compelled to buy the first episode. It was great. If you’re not familiar, the quarterlife is a reference to that 20-something time period post college in the fog of finding yourself. As a May graduate of a university, I feel I’m just about to move into this time of my life, and while I know this dramatization is glamorized, it feels pretty real. Not to mention the story includes videoblogging and cool things like that. The show website is even a social networking thing or something. I’d highly recommend this show, and I look forward to new episodes.
